What Our Students Say

Vedant Bhatnagar Mathur
This is to express our experience of Meridian School Madhapur, Hyderabad as parents of Vedant Bhatnagar Mathur, who was (sadly, not ‘is’) a student of Meridian from Nursery till Grade 10. Now we’re moving out of India, so with a heavy heart I am writing this. Vedant entered the school environment as a 3-year-old toddler in Nursery and passed out as a confident young adult from grade 10 in 21. We must say, Meridian was first a family to Vedant and then a school. His teachers across the years were like his mother’s away from home, taking care of everything from physical aspects (food, physical activity, occasional illness when he was a toddler) and growth aspects (extra curriculars, organizing events, sports, extending all feasible opportunities) to academic aspects (curricular, extra-curricular like projects, science fairs, you name it). As a parent, we always knew that Vedant is not just in good, but great hands at Meridian. Physical aspects – teachers took every care of Vedant when he got hurt / felt unwell, informed parents and even took care of medication as required. They went out of their way to care, as their own children. Growth aspects – Vedant was exposed to a lot of extra curriculars and took special interest towards public speaking events like Model United Nations , industry webinars (during lock downs) and football. Meridian ensured he got just right experience, including that of organizing such events, which I am sure will help him in future. Academic support – While things were going good, or when things needed improvement, teachers paid detailed attention to Vedant and updated us of focus areas. They also travelled with Vedant and other group of children to science fairs in other cities. And this is perhaps why, even a little Vedant never wanted to miss the school. He still doesn’t. Given a choice, he’d have gone to the school, come sun, rain or lock downs. Even now, he wants to go to the school, sit in a class, be with teachers, just 1 more time. Thank you, team Meridian. You toiled, yet smiled. You attended to our smallest of needs. We hope, many more children benefit from you and pray, you always keep good health and experience happiness. Warm Regards Vaibhav Mathur (father) & Pooja Bhatnagar Mathur (mother)

My experience at Meridian has been memorable. My teachers are very supportive and helped me develop career-oriented skills. They taught lessons with a passion that made me want to work hard and make them proud. They identified the potential in me and gave me endless opportunities to shine bright. The COVID lockdown may have stopped us from going to school, but my teachers made the transition to online mode seamless. I am very thankful for all they have done.

Meridian is an abode that has nurtured the talents of several brilliant students over its massive and evergreen tenure, including mine. From the time I joined Meridian in 2019, I was welcomed with open arms and smiling faces. Over the course of 2 years, Meridian has not only given me the knowledge of the books but has taught me how to be a better human being. From my starting days, they have given me ample opportunities for me to showcase my verbose nature. And to keep my academics in progress, teachers have been willing to stay beyond working hours and tutor me to perfection. Though I was a late joiner, the relations I have cultivated amongst my friends and teachers have become almost family-like. Communicating with them is very fluid and once you’ve established that comfort with them, learning’s like a walk in the park. The openness the teachers have with you is truly exemplary and is a marvel to gander at once you grow up and look back into your school days.

My experience at meridian has been a roller coaster of a ride. It feels just like yesterday I was walking into school, in my new uniform and not knowing anyone, yet from my first interaction with all my teachers and new friends is one that I vividly remember and hold dear. My journey has been filled with ups and downs, but more than those situations I remember the people around me, my teachers who went out of their way to prepare me for D-Day or more commonly known as the Board Exams. The memories made on the basketball court, the countless break periods going on a scavenger hunt for food, or even memories made over shared meals with friends. Meridian elevated me from a student to the position of Head Boy a post never thought I would hold. In retrospect writing this brings a smile to my face, a tear in my eye knowing that in a while I will be leaving school, which truly in all sense became my home away from home.
